The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians is one of
the oldest non-profit music organizations in the United States devoted
to the presentation and performance of comtemporary music.

Congratulations respectively to Dr. Muhal Richard Abrams co-founder of the AACM, NEA Jazz Master and recipient of the 2014 Doris Duke Impact Award, to AACM member Roscoe Mitchell recipient of the 2014 Doris Duke Artist Award, AACM member Anthony Braxton on his 2014 NEA Jazz Masters Award and the premiere of his opera "Trillium J" The Non-Unconfessionables: Acts I, II, III and IV.
